Required:
• Associate's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
• Life and Health Insurance License, or the ability to successfully obtain license within 60 days.
• 4+ years of health insurance or related industry experience; including experience with Medicare product portfolio (i.e., group, individual, and Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Medicare and Medicare Part D products).
• Experience working in environments such as a call center or phone-based sales.
• Experience providing feedback and coaching to both individuals and groups to strengthen their knowledge and skills and as a result improving performance.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build trust and solid relationships with team members.
• Ability to provide expertise and knowledge of complex products, benefit plans, contract language, insurance guidelines/regulations and market segments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex concepts across varying departments within an organization.
• Ability to perform, document, and/or guide others through the flow of work while maintaining accuracy and timely SLAs; ability to make and recommend process improvements where necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while proactively building and leveraging collaborative, strategic relationships that support business objectives and drive results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
