An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, diligent individual to join our busy HR Services team at Wellcome Sanger Institute as an On-boarding Administrator on a part time (30 hours per week) 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
This role has an onboarding focus, working closely with our Talent Acquisition team, candidates and hiring managers. You will also be cross-trained in the scope of HR Services to effectively support delivery where required.
What you'll be doing:
About you: You must have excellent organisational skills and essentially the ability to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting delivery deadlines.
You will also need be adaptable in responding to changing circumstances or requirements and be an effective customer focused team player with excellent communication skills.
Our HR Services team deliver a people-centred, professional and efficient service. This includes the administration of on-boarding, life cycle changes and payroll processing, whilst providing comprehensive first line advice to our people on HR policies, procedures, pay and benefits.
This is a part-time role (30 hours p/w). Hours may be worked across four or five days via a flexible working arrangement. The only requirement is that the non-working day is not a Wednesday or Friday. When applying, please let us know your preferred working hours in your covering letter.
Salary in the region of £27,000 - £30,000 (pro-rata)
