Industrial Engineering Intern

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team in Duluth, GA. This intern will be responsible for assisting a variety of tasks typical in the Industrial Engineering department.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting and documenting time studies
• Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
• Assist with Kaizen WEG program and Continuous Improvement Projects: Work with cross-functional teams to register and implement improvement initiatives
• Updating standard work documentation
• Contributing to the implementation of new equipment
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements, working closely with production and quality teams
• Other duties and tasks assigned

Education:

• High School/GED – Industrial Engineering Majors
