✨ About The Role
- Responsible for deriving insights from unique datasets and developing models to support merchant acquisition, retention, growth, and profitability goals
- Collaborate closely with Cash App Sales & Account Management team to analyze large datasets and surface actionable insights
- Design and analyze A/B experiments to evaluate operational changes and impact on merchant behavior
- Build, forecast, and report on metrics driving strategy and decision-making for key business initiatives
- Develop data visualizations, self-serve dashboards, and communicate work effectively with team leads and stakeholders
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced data scientist with a background in statistics, data science, or a similar STEM field, with at least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools, scripting, and data analysis programming languages like Python or R
- Skilled in cohort and funnel analyses, statistical concepts, and A/B experiment design
- Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders
- Appreciation for the impact of work on customer experience, especially in marketplace platforms
