✨ About The Role
- The role involves joining the Disputes Team in the United States, reporting to the Disputes Team Engineering Manager in West Coast USA
- Responsible for one of three major work streams within the Disputes Team, collaborating with Mobile Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Machine Learning Engineers
- Working on key services within an event-based architecture, ensuring architectural, testing, and coding practices meet shared standards and patterns
- Participating in a 24/7 on-call support rotation for services, prioritizing operational excellence to minimize operational load while on-call
- Opportunities to represent the team's work in leadership discussions while remaining hands-on with the engineering team
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with a minimum of 5-8 years in complex systems and software development, particularly in Java and Kotlin
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of designing, developing, and maintaining features collaboratively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive impactful results
- Prior experience in event-driven architecture, Kafka, and AWS would be beneficial
