✨ About The Role
- Responsible for creating and optimizing data models for Cash App events, entities, and processes
- Standardizing business and product metric definitions in curated and optimized datasets
- Building pipelines out of the data warehouse to enable efficient data processing
- Teaching and encouraging others to self-serve while developing tools to simplify and speed up the process
- Promoting data, analytics, and data model design best practices within the team
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced BI Engineer with a background in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, Stats, Physics, or related fields
- Skilled in building complex, scalable ETLs for various business and product use cases with at least 5 years of industry experience
- Passionate about advancing Cash App's vision of building products for economic empowerment
- Proficient in SQL (MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery), Airflow, Prefect, Python, and Java
- Excited about working in a data-driven team, collaborating with Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers
