- The role involves managing partnerships and operations in the payments supply chain for Square's global footprint
- Responsibilities include developing strategies, infrastructure, and partnerships to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure movement of money across different networks and countries
- Lead the entire partnership lifecycle for payment network partners, from discovery to ongoing relationship management
- Collaborate with various internal teams and external partners to optimize Square's cost structure for payments and create operational efficiency
- Opportunity to work remotely on the East Coast of Australia or in the Sydney or Melbourne office, with a hybrid of in-office and remote work arrangements
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced professional with 5+ years in Financial Technology or Payments industry, showcasing technical depth in payment operations and commercial breadth in contract negotiations
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including executive level, to advocate for Square's position
- Strategic thinker with the capability to navigate ambiguity, think analytically, and influence others effectively
- Comfortable straddling various roles such as relationship manager, program manager, and analytics manager
- Strong desire to develop deep data analytics skills and manage complex projects
