Test Engineer (Focus Electrical Heating) (F/M/X)

Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Development of test plans (DVP) in cooperation with Quality, taking into account measurement and test specifications, functional specifications as well as customer and Webasto specifications
  • Independent planning and organization of tests on electrical heating devices and components including cost calculation, resource planning and coordination of test technicians
  • Independent setup and execution of tests
  • Analysis, evaluation and documentation of test results (test report)
  • Planning and coordination of cooperation with external service providers

This is what you bring to us:

  • Completed technical studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
  • Experience in dealing with measurement technology and measurement software as well as test methodology and statistics
  • Experience in the development of electrical systems/high-voltage systems and/or mechatronics desirable
  • Good analytical skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • Fluent German, good written and spoken English skills
