Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robots (ABB, Fanuc, UR), and other automation systems to support production needs
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide training and support to operators, technicians, and junior engineers on automation systems
  • Ensure compliance with IATF & ISO-45001 standards and maintain a clean, safe, and team-oriented work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines
  • Stay current with automation technology and apply best practices in all tasks and professional interactions.

This is what you bring to us:

  • Associate's degree with 5+ years of industrial control system programming experience, or a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens, with ability to read electrical schematics and process diagrams
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
