Assembly Planning And Coordination Specialist

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and organizing work activities and resources necessary for assembly of products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications in manufacturing facility. Ensure that all customer orders meet requirements, delivery dates as well as quality and cost specifications. Enforce procedures and requirements in accordance with Weatherford policies while ensuring the safety and performance of all employees.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Weatherford's Operating Technical Procedures, Quality System Manual, and Quality Policy across all production processes.

Control and monitor production and process activities as per Weatherford standards to ensure quality and efficiency.

Drive First Time Right (FTR) in assembly operations through process accuracy, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Manage new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth integration into existing production processes.

Plan and optimize capacity and resource utilization to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets (95% manpower, 90% utilization).

Establish manufacturing methods, tooling, and fixtures to ensure efficient production of high-quality parts.

Plan work schedules, assignments, and production sequences; interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders for operators.

Oversee and control testing processes at all production stages; conduct inspections to detect defects and ensure product quality.

Lead and supervise assembly teams and technicians, coordinate cross-functional activities, and resolve operational and employee-related issues.

Monitor production performance through reports and KPIs, drive team productivity, ensure workplace safety and cleanliness, and support training and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Engineering Graduate / Diploma. Preferably from Mechanical or Production specialization.

8 to 10 years of experience of Assembly or Production

4 to 5 years of team handling experience

Ability to effectively work with employees and supervisors

Prior experience of oil tool equipment assembly

Prior experience of team management
