Drilling Supervisor

The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating drilling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of well programs. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and field teams to deliver projects in line with company standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day drilling and well operations at the rig site
• Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with HSE policies and industry regulations
• Monitor drilling performance and optimize operations to improve efficiency and reduce non-productive time
• Coordinate with drilling engineers, well planners, and third-party service providers
• Review and implement drilling programs, procedures, and technical instructions
• Manage site personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures
• Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to stakeholders
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of drilling equipment and tools
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in drilling operations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role
• Experience working in oil & gas drilling environments
• Experience in offshore or complex drilling operations is an advantage
• Familiarity with regional regulations and operations in Turkey is preferred
• Proficiency in Turkish, English; additional languages are a plus.
