The Application Engineer IV for Liner Hangers is responsible for leading and providing specialized technical support in the design, selection, simulation, execution, and optimization of liner hanger solutions, well completions, and cementation accessories, ensuring their correct application in the field and alignment with client requirements and company standards. This role acts as a technical reference (SME) for complex projects, integrating operational, engineering, and application expertise to minimize risks, optimize well performance, and maximize the technical and commercial value of the solutions. Additionally, it collaborates closely with operations, technical sales, training, and engineering to develop best practices, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement of Liner Hangers line products and services.
•Act as the main subject matter expert (SME) for the Liner Hanger product line, regarding the application of its products and technologies.
•Provide support as SME for the development, review, and standardization of global quality documentation associated with Liner Hanger (SOP, MyAdvisor PFTs, forms, technical calculators, running guides, etc.).
•Work together with Engineering in the development and improvement of Liner Hanger products, providing technical support between the product line, operations, R&D, and maintenance engineering.
•Coordinate with the Liner Hanger product line, technical sales, operations, and R&D during the development process to ensure that solutions meet operational requirements and align with customer expectations.
•Provide inputs as SME to operations on the technical competencies, skills, and training required to locally sustain Liner Hanger services and products.
•Identify technical and operational synergies between the Liner Hanger product line and other completion or casing solutions lines.
•Provide support to ensure the successful application of new technologies and developments of Liner Hanger globally, and define Weatherford operational parameters for best practices and standardized operating procedures.
•Respond to technical queries in WISE related to the application, operation, and performance of Liner Hanger products.
•Participate in investigations of incidents and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to Liner Hanger operations and equipment.
•Perform other functions and related activities for the Liner Hanger product line, as assigned by the supervisor, within the physical capabilities of the position.
