To support this growth, we are seeking a highly accomplished sales professional to lead business development efforts across Los Angeles County. This individual will serve as the face of our organization in the market, responsible for cultivating deep relationships with referral partners and positioning our services as the preferred wound care solution for their patients. The role requires a strategic thinker with the drive to navigate the competitive healthcare landscape, identify opportunities for expansion, and consistently deliver results. The primary focus will be securing referrals from home health agencies, given their pivotal role in coordinating patient care, while hospitals and other healthcare providers will represent additional sources of growth. The right candidate will not only have the ability to generate new business but also the skills to nurture long-term partnerships built on trust, collaboration, and proven outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to grow referral pipelines from home health agencies, hospitals, and community-based healthcare providers throughout Los Angeles County.
  • Identify, engage, and secure new referral sources while strengthening existing relationships to ensure ongoing patient volume and sustained revenue growth.
  • Present and promote wound care services to healthcare leaders, administrators, and clinical decision-makers, demonstrating the clinical and financial value to their organizations.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activities across the county to maintain a strong presence in the market.
  • Serve as the liaison between referral sources and internal clinical teams to ensure smooth coordination of care and positive outcomes for patients.
  • Monitor sales performance, track referral data, and provide leadership with accurate and timely reporting on activity, pipeline status, and results.
  • Stay current on trends in wound care, home health, and hospital markets to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the organization at professional networking events, industry conferences, and community outreach opportunities to strengthen brand awareness.

Qualifications

  • At least 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in healthcare, with strong preference for wound care, home health, or hospital partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate and grow referral business from healthcare providers, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Established network of contacts within Los Angeles County healthcare organizations, especially home health agencies, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior-level decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large, dynamic territory.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with internal clinical and operational teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Los Angeles County for meetings, presentations, and relationship management.

Compensation

Competitive base salary range of $130,000 – $150,000, with flexibility for higher compensation for exceptional candidates.
