Customer Service Specialist

Candidate must be able to multi-task effectively, self-motivated, perform in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, and have strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills. Strong Customer Service and analytical skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word required. Responsible for complete and accurate order processing that supports departmental service goals. This includes multi-tasking such as: Complete Direct Import order management responsibility from order entry, ship date confirmation, preparation of purchase order upload sheets when applicable, rest-of-world [ROW] inventory tracking at factories.

• Provide responsive quality customer service and support at all times, share order status information, inquiries related to shipments, and problem solving. This critical performance should be done on a daily basis or as needed in a proficient and professional manner. • Execute and deliver all order management, and purchase-order-upload sheets development when applicable, for all ROW accounts. • Maintain tracking report for all pending PO's and CRD's (cargo-ready date) requests and submit to Account Executive daily for review. • Strategically manage, generate, and review applicable system driven reports to manage orders from assigned accounts on a daily basis. • Provide updated customer-requested spreadsheets and/or GP reports in a timely, professional manner. • Track and report on inventory for international customers that is produced and stored at factories in China. • Compose and maintain Direct Import shipping procedures for all ROW accounts. • Send trade up forms to qualifying customers via email. • Provide master list of agent open cases on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. • Provide VOC Reporting weekly or as often as requested. • Provide assistance to LTL carriers by contacting customers by phone or email. • Provide authorization to return damages products, or undeliverable freight. • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Minimum Education: College level coursework may be substituted for years of experience, such that an Associate Degree with 3 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience would qualify.

Minimum Work Experience: 3 years of experience in International Logistics/Traffic planning and/or Customer Service.

License(s)/Certification(s): None.

• Excellent skills in PC based applications to include but not limited to Excel, Microsoft Word, Great Plains, SAP. • Internet navigation experience a must. • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment. • Self-assured and able to work with very little supervision. • Demonstrates excellent teamwork ability. • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
