The Shared Business Services Hub provides human resources, payroll and financial transaction processing support to many administrative and academic units on the Danforth Campus. This position serves as the Human Resources/Payroll Support Specialist to an assigned portfolio of units, processing human resources transactions and monitoring payroll cycles. This position is a subject matter expert, functioning as a primary source of information for departments regarding employee and non-employee appointments and Workday processes and procedures. This position also assists with reporting and analysis of human resources and payroll data.

Required Qualifications: Four years of experience in human resources, payroll and/or accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Human Resources or related field may substitute for experience. Five years of experience in human resources, payroll and/or accounting experience. Experience with Workday and CRM systems. Prior experience in a university setting. Prior experience with financial reporting systems. Demonstrated ability to modify one's own behavioral style to interact successfully with faculty, staff and students (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, and respond to their needs with a high level of professionalism. Excellent customer service skills; and communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
