Interventional Psychiatry Services Coordinator

Position is responsible for supporting Interventional Psychiatry services, including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Esketamine treatments: managing patient referrals, intake form completion, gathering required documentation for prior authorizations and seeing PAs through to approval quickly, scheduling treatments, provide service delivery backup as needed, tracking, and reporting.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Become knowledgeable on interventional services. Understand the requirements and services.
  • Manage Interventional Service patient referrals; whether by other providers or self-referrals.
  • Manage patient intake form completion including assisting with patient questions.
  • Procedure and medication prior authorizations, and follow-up efficiently and quickly.
  • Schedule treatments in proper schedules.
  • Interventional Services tracking/reporting.
  • Update leadership on Interventional Service patient volume and process efficiency.
  • Alert leadership of needed process efficiency improvements and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate and set provider/staff schedules for treatment coverage.
  • Provide backup to TMS and Esketamine treatments.
  • Cross coverage of other office staff as needed: patient check-in and check-out, answer phones, in basket task completion, and other related duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).
  • Minimum of one year experience in interventional services, specifically TMS, is preferred.

  • Work Experience: Patient Services Operations (1 Year)

Salary Range: $17.34 - $25.40 / Hourly
