Wire Design & Install Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Wire Design & Install Engineer position. This full-time contract is for a duration of six months and is located in Everett, WA. As a Wire Design & Install Engineer, you will:

Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.

Analyze results and perform design reviews.

Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).

Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

Develop basic statements of work.

Participate in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.

Analyze functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design.

Working on a wire design project doing the wire routing design throughout the airplane.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Catia v5 3D modeling
• Experience with wire routing design
• 5+ years of experience

Typical Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range: Between $65 to $70 per hour.
