Title: Marketing Product Manager

Contract Length: 7 months

Location: Hybrid, Redmond, WA - 2 or 3 days in office

Hours: M-F, 40 hr, no OT

Pay Range: $70.00-$73.00

Team Focus/Key Projects:

Purpose of the Team: The team is a centralized market research group within marketing, specifically focused on consumer research to support the consumer subscription business.

Key Projects: The role involves managing and executing market research projects that inform business decisions for consumer subscriptions, working closely with business partners and research agencies.

Typical Task Breakdown & Operating Rhythm: The role includes scoping research, engaging with agencies, executing research projects, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring research deliverables address business needs. Independence and collaboration are both emphasized.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end market research projects, including scoping, methodology design, vendor management, and insight delivery.

Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover trends, customer behaviors, and market opportunities.

Synthesize findings into compelling narratives and present insights to senior stakeholders.

Manage external research partners and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Maintain and evolve research best practices, tools, and frameworks.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in technology. Familiarity with agile research methods and rapid iteration cycles. Product value proposition design working closely with product development/planning, pricing, positioning, and business/revenue strategy for a product(s).

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or a related field. Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver strategic insights. Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a corporate or agency setting.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required:

1. Hands-on Market Research Experience (7+ years): Must include primary research (custom, not just syndicated), both qualitative and quantitative.

2. Project Management Experience: Ability to independently scope, manage, and deliver research projects.

3. Experience in Technology/Subscription Consumer Space: Direct experience in relevant industries is preferred over general consumer packaged goods backgrounds.
