You will serve as a Waterfront Support Specialist in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities include performing a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of technical project teams within waterfront projects, production shops, and product lines. You will advise personnel at all levels on the practical and technical applications of office administration. You will complete diverse and multi-faceted assignments encompassing correspondence management, supply management, incentive awards, travel, training, and records maintenance. You will prepare correspondence ensuring compliance with Department of Navy and local regulations. You will use office automation systems and applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point to perform administrative tasks.
Qualifications include at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level or equivalent in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate providing clerical and technical support and gathering and maintaining administrative documentation for an organization. In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with one full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled or a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
