Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham has partnered with a manufacturing company in Blaine to recruit Warehouse/Forklift Operators! This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for its great workplace culture, training opportunities, and overtime during the busy season. The ideal candidate is reliable, a team player, and either has forklift experience or is eager to learn. If you're looking for a chance to grow in your career, this could be the perfect fit! Starting Pay: $20.75 per hour Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:00 pm-5:30 am Position Type: Evaluation hire Location: Blaine

What You Get To Do:

• Picking and putting away pallets into storage racks
• Creating palletized orders for outbound shipping
• Stacking boxes
• Use an inventory management system to manifest inbound and outbound products
• Receive and pick inventory
• Load and unload trailers with a stand-up forklift
• Wrap pallets
• Warehouse duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Motivated to learn about the industry
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
• Work 35-45 hrs. weekly with possible overtime when needed
• Reliable team player who pays attention to detail
• Forklift Experience- Electric-Stand up reach and counterbalance forklifts and riding pallet jacks
• Basic Math Skills (Adding, subtracting, counting, multiplying, dividing) (This is both for general and forklift drivers)

Physical Requirements:

• Work in and out of a cold warehouse environment
• May need to lift up to 60 lbs. (case/boxes) when stacking boxes.
• May stand for long periods on a warehouse floor and operate a forklift.
• Bending and kneeling at various times
• Must be able to work with safety signs and product paperwork
