Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,000+ satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. In this role, you are accountable for implementation and ongoing administration of tooling and mechanisms to allow Project Kuiper's Site Acquisition team to scale to secure land for terrestrial infrastructure around the globe.
A day in the life This role is dynamic and intellectually stimulating, involving close collaboration with the team manager, regional leads, and other GIS stakeholders. You will immerse yourself in both direct and indirect aspects of the site acquisition process to define and enhance mechanisms for the team and stakeholders. With consistently high standards, you'll seek ways to elevate team performance, quality, and cost-efficiency. You'll work hand-in-hand with the regional teams to customize tooling to support candidate identification and review, cross-team approvals, data and document storage and asset management. This role requires experience in technical program management, working with customers, stakeholders, and software engineering teams. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
