Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. The Kuiper Ground Infrastructure Services (GIS) team owns delivering the Kuiper Earth Station network. The ideal candidate has a background in land acquisition, preferably in telecom, and has worked in the North/Central Asia Region with business-level Russian language skills. This role will support breaking ground on this new business!

The GIS Site Acquisition team (SAQ) is divided regionally. Each region works closely with our GIS peers in Fiber, Construction, Strategy & Delivery, Lease Admin and Operations. Other stakeholders within Kuiper include the Regulatory, Legal, Business and Economic Development teams. We also frequently interact with partner teams in AWS.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
