The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist for an exciting opportunity with the C-17 Maintainability and Supportability Engineering team at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA and or Joint Base Charleston SC. The C-17 platform is a mature airlifter for Air Forces of the United States and allied countries. This position plays an important role in ensuring that C-17 aircraft continue to be reliable and mission capable. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA or the Joint Base Charleston SC facility.
Position Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution of learning. 6+ yrs of relative work experience. 2+ years of experience supporting the military aviation industry. Working knowledge of C-17 aircraft engines and or C-17 Configuration Control and Maintenance Scheduling. Working knowledge of USAF Field Maintenance Command and Control (FMxC2) Data Systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in Microsoft Full Suite Applications. Experience in Boeing Data/Information Systems.
