PSE's Environmental Services team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Supervisor Environmental Services position! Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process. This position is responsible for directing PSE's program to manage waste generated at PSE operations, construction sites, remediation sites, and from spills, in compliance with all applicable regulations. Leads a waste management team comprised of one scientist and six represented employees (Environmental Coordinators) to document, improve, and implement PSE's waste compliance program. Provides a training program for compliance work processes to ensure employees who manage waste understand and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. Trains and coaches cross-functional operational staff to comply with waste management requirements. Provides job aids, training, and coaching for crews and contractors responsible for waste management for construction projects, remediation sites, and the spill response program. Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Waste Management Facility, in compliance with applicable permits. Responsible for tracking and responding to change to maintain compliance with waste regulations across changes in personnel, operations, and regulations. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and field procedures related to the waste team's work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
