Electric Distribution Engineer

In this position, you will develop and maintain material and construction standards associated with its secondary and primary electric distribution system. This position supports the Company's design and field construction including formal training and mentoring of operating and office personnel. This position conducts root cause analysis of failed equipment, coordinates new product trials, and works with manufacturing representatives to solve a variety of sourcing issues. You will also work closely with Supply Chain to address supply chain issues that relate to the electric distribution system. Competent use of NESC, WAC and other design-based codes and regulations. Assists with formal in-class instruction of Electric Distribution Standards (EDSC). Principally responsible for maintaining and developing the Company's electric distribution construction and material standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in ABET accredited Engineering Program
  • Effective and flexible communication skills
  • Utility experience preferred

Entry Engineer:

  • 0-1 years engineering work experience preferred

Hiring Range: $65,410 - $84,379

Assistant Engineer:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of engineering work experience required

Hiring Range: $74,611 - $96,621

Associate Engineer:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of engineering work experience required
  • Hiring Range: $84,939 - $110,421

    Engineer:

    • Minimum of four (4) years engineering work experience required

    Hiring Range: $96,517 - $126,439

    Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

    Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane, Washington headquarters at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.
