We're looking for a strategic, content-savvy Platform Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of our go-forward platforms among higher education faculty. This role is passionate about articulating the value of the entire ecosystem, ensuring faculty understand how the platform supports their broader teaching goals, and as such, you'll play a key role in connecting the value of our platform to the real-world needs of instructors—through storytelling, content, and in-product experiences that reflect how they teach, think, and tackle problems.
Work closely with product, design, customer success, and academic partnerships to ensure alignment on faculty needs. Support community-building efforts, including webinars, roundtables, and user-generated content initiatives. Contribute to platform-level launch planning and execution. Be a leader in developing necessary feedback loops between product, customer success, and enablement groups.
Collaborate with research and POM teams to conduct interviews, surveys, and usage analysis to understand faculty motivations, struggles, and behaviors. Build and maintain detailed personas that inform platform strategy and content development. Stay current on trends in higher ed pedagogy, instructional technology, and faculty workflows. Be a leader in developing vital feedback loops between product, customer success, and enablement groups.
Partner with product and growth teams to drive faculty onboarding, activation, and long-term engagement. Design and test in-product messaging, tools and tips, and campaigns that guide faculty through key workflows. Use behavioral data and feedback to continuously refine messaging and content strategy.
Develop and evolve platform-level messaging that clearly communicates value to faculty across disciplines and institution types. Translate technical capabilities into benefits that resonate with instructors' teaching goals and classroom realities. Ensure consistency across web properties, in-product, and campaign messaging.
Build high-impact content that speaks to faculty needs—case studies, blog posts, guides, videos, and in-product education. Collaborate with product, UX, and academic strategy teams to craft onboarding and engagement experiences. Develop messaging frameworks and content playbooks for use across marketing and enablement.
5+ years in product marketing, platform marketing, or content strategy—ideally in EdTech or SaaS with a B2B. Deep appreciation for educators and a strong understanding of the higher education landscape. Outstanding writing, storytelling, and presentation skills. Superior problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to lead with influence, up and down the organization and across business units. Experience working with product and UX teams to craft user experiences and messaging. Comfort with data tools and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing, product analytics platforms). Upbeat presence who can work independently, and with a sense of endless curiosity.
Bonus Points: Background in teaching, instructional design, or academic technology. Familiarity with LMS platforms, digital learning tools, or faculty development programs.
