We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide general labor support, specifically focusing on the installation of sound dampening tiles on ships in Michigan. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and functionality of the shipyard operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general labor support in the shipyard.
• Assist with the installation of sound dampening tiles.
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines while performing tasks.
• Participate in safety and training orientation sessions.
• Complete orientation on the first day of work.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of shipyard experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with general labor tasks in a shipyard environment.
• Possession of a DBIDS/Green badge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Trades Assistant or in Trade Support roles.
• No specific certifications required.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
