Service Technician

Job Opportunity: Service Technician

Local Heating Company specializing in fireplaces and woodstoves is looking for a Service Technician to train up onto their service and installation team serving Kitsap and Mason Counties. Job duties may include but not limited to the following:

• Be industry experts on product (gas/wood/pellet heating appliances) that we sell and service.
• Perform diagnostics on product that is having issues
• Be able to identify parts needed for product
• Travel to and from customers' homes to service heating appliances
• Communicate with customer as well as Custom Hearth staff about status of service appointments (follow ups needed/billing needs)
• Invoice service appointments in the field as needed and necessary
• Fill in for installation team as needed during absences

Requirements:

• Clean driving record as you will have your own service vehicle once you are out of training and on your own in the field.
• Experience with reading manuals
• Any sort of diagnostic work
• Great customer service skills
• Some experience with basic hand tools
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
