Senior Patient Services Specialist

The Senior Patient Services Specialist functions as an integral team member of the Swedish Breast Surgery Clinic providing support and clinical coordination of multiple patient care services. The Senior PSS exercises independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties. This position may also be responsible for the performance and maintenance of the patient follow-up and tracking functions as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act. This includes short-term and yearly recall, follow-up of abnormal mammograms, follow-up of positive core biopsies, data gathering for and performance of medical audits and outcome analyses. Required qualifications:

• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a college or technical school preferred
• 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. physician's office, scheduler, etc.)
