Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) – School-Based

Salary: $2100 / Week

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide school-based therapy services to students in the South Tacoma area. This full-time position begins September 15, 2025, and runs for 40 weeks. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will deliver treatment, implement therapy plans, collect standardized assessment data, and document services in accordance with student needs and district guidelines.

Position Overview

• Location: South of Tacoma, WA
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35 hours/week
• Duration: 40 weeks
• Pay Rate: $40/hour
• Setting: On-site, school-based
• Population: Pediatric (K–12)
• Supervision: Direct oversight by licensed OT

Minimum Requirements

• Active Washington COTA license or certification
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• One year of experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB screening and health certificate (if applicable)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
