Housing & Food Services (HFS) has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Coordinator to join their team. HFS supports over 10,000 student residents and operates 40+ dining locations on campus. With a team of over 1,200 staff and students, HFS is dedicated to enhancing student life through teamwork and excellent service.
Position Purpose: Coordinate the Housing and Food Services' (HFS) student account and collection processes. The student housing and dining information systems, including the housing management and accounts receivable systems. These systems are unique to HFS with distinct agreements, policies, and procedures. While fiscal record-keeping is a dimension of this position, 70% of the work involves interpreting and applying policies and procedures for current students, parents, prospective students, UW Student Financial Aid, UW Student Fiscal Services, Residential Life, Admissions and the Registrar's Office.
Description of Duties:
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of customer service experience. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Supervision Provided: The Student Accounts Coordinator works under general direction and reports to the Student Services Operations and Accounts Manager.
Position Dimensions: The position's assignments and workload vary seasonally, with continuous focus on how customer service, attention to detail and work volume are balanced to ensure work is completed. This position requires an understanding and recognition of the University's complex and decentralized environment, and of how to communicate and coordinate with campus partners, unit partners, and customers.
Working Conditions: The work schedule reflects regular weekday office hours.
