UW Medicine - Digestive Health Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2. Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift, Mondays-Fridays. Primary job responsibilities include providing coverage for and responding to incoming phone calls, performing patient check-in, and processing referrals for the OPMC NW Digestive Health Clinic, OPMC NW Nephrology, and OPMC NW Endoscopy Unit. Facilitate effective internal and external communication among staff, providers, and patients, including managing phone inquiries and scheduling appointments. Obtain and verify patient demographic, financial, and clinical information to support accurate and efficient patient registration. Collaborate with all members of the clinic team to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements include high school graduation or equivalent and one year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Compensation, benefits and position details: Pay range minimum $43,236.00 annual, pay range maximum $59,976.00 annual. Benefits available. First shift (United States of America). This is a regular position. FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) 100.00%. Union/Bargaining Unit: SEIU Local 925 Nonsupervisory.
