Bank Operations Support

Supporting daily operational functions within the bank and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for supporting customer service efforts, performing operational and administrative tasks, and ensuring accurate processing of deposit-related activities. Pay Scale: $20.18 - $30.26/hour

Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Branch daily operations support
  • Support branches by answering policy and procedural questions and researching nonstandard customer needs
  • Cash vault servicing and monitoring for branches
  • Review and process daily reports as assigned
  • Fulfill research requests from internal and external parties
  • Perform new account reviews using Synapsis for onboarding accuracy
  • eBanking Support: Provide customer support for all eBanking products, including troubleshooting and user education
  • Perform system maintenance
  • Process domestic and international wire transfers with accuracy and compliance

  • Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy
  • Attends and participates in meetings as required

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One to two years of similar or related banking experience, including time spent in preparatory position
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school desired
  • Experience with core banking systems and eBanking platforms
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system, computer, and related software
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Work Environment

Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.
