Clinical Educator Rn

The Clinical Educator RN develops, implements, and sustains clinical education/training and competency requirements for the clinical workforce within SMG/ACN. Primary responsibility for clinical education/training, competency development and assessment, learning assessments, instructor-led classes, written materials, and e-learning modules in response to the needs of the organization. Additional responsibilities for identifying and establishing standards and best practices. Ensure that training and competency measurements are implemented so that care is provided in accordance with ambulatory care policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and state and federal regulations. Act as a leader to ensure the mission and goals of the organization are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing with minimum of 3 years experience. Or Professional level of knowledge equivalent to that acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • 3 years Experience in clinical education in healthcare setting and/or direct nursing care experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Strong preference for an advanced degree in Nursing, education or Business/Health
  • Upon hire: Teaching degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years Ambulatory care and/or medical group practice setting experience
