Coffman Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (4-9 years) who wishes to gain alternative energy experience for a variety of projects, learn how to develop new business relationships, and work in a professional fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun! More specifically:

• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
• Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS)
• Biochar

You will be responsible for leading projects throughout the entire project life cycle:

• Writing and assembling proposals to win work
• Leading a multi-disciplined engineering team through all design milestones
• Responding to client and vendor questions
• Being the single point of contact for all internal and external project stakeholders
• Managing project schedules and budgets
• Facilitating communication between all internal and external team members

Qualifications:

• EIT Required
• PE Preferred
• BSME or BS Architectural Engineering with mechanical and energy, or sustainability emphasis
• ASHRAE membership and involvement (preferred)
• PMP Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with Revit MEP (preferred)
• Previous work experience in building system design or construction (preferred)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with MS Office programs
• Desire to work as a pro-active team player

Salary range $77,000-$105,000. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
