UW Medical Center-Montlake's Interpreter Services has an outstanding opportunity for an Interpreter Services Coordinator. Work schedule: 20 hours per week, day shift. Position highlights include enabling patients to access medical care and being part of a team dedicated to improving language access.

Department description: UW Medical Center-Montlake Interpreter Services Department.

Primary job responsibilities include coordinating interpreter scheduling for patients with limited English proficiency, collaborating with interpreters to conduct rounds on inpatient units, managing and fulfilling interpreter service requests, developing and distributing daily schedules for staff interpreters, facilitating interpreter services through external agencies, telephonic platforms, and video systems, safeguarding sensitive information, reviewing and reconciling vendor invoices, participating in departmental meetings and professional conferences, overseeing inventory and ordering of supplies, and providing general administrative support as needed.

Requirements include high school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in a healthcare or administrative role. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements.

Compensation, benefits and position details: Pay range minimum: $47,724.00 annual, pay range maximum: $68,244.00 annual.
