Interaction Designer
Google's Interaction Designers make complex tasks intuitive and easy-to-use for billions of people around the globe. You'll envision how people will experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and magical.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
- Communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
- Integrating user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
- Advocating for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Producing deliverables such as mocks, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and carefully crafted visual specs with detailed focus.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience with mobile and desktop products.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
- 1 year of experience leading design projects.
- Experience working within and contributing to design systems, as well as building accessible products.
- Knowledge of UX industry tools such as Figma.
