Interaction Designer

Google's Interaction Designers make complex tasks intuitive and easy-to-use for billions of people around the globe. You'll envision how people will experience our products and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and magical.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
• Communicating the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
• Integrating user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
• Advocating for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
• Producing deliverables such as mocks, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and carefully crafted visual specs with detailed focus.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience with mobile and desktop products.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
• 1 year of experience leading design projects.
• Experience working within and contributing to design systems, as well as building accessible products.
• Knowledge of UX industry tools such as Figma.
