Grounds And Nursery Services Specialist 4

As a Grounds and Nursery Services Specialist 4, you'll take the lead in creating and maintaining safe, clean, and beautiful outdoor spaces across the WSU Pullman Campus. You'll use your skills to manage turf care, litter control, plant bed installation and upkeep, tree planting, pruning, and removal. You'll also operate, maintain, and install computerized automatic irrigation systems to keep our landscapes thriving. In this role, you'll guide and support team members, especially during snow and ice control operations. You'll oversee shop equipment and vehicle maintenance, lead safety initiatives, and conduct regular area audits to monitor service levels and identify issues like pest or disease damage. Your expertise will help shape our campus environment through thoughtful recommendations on turf, plant, and tree installation, removal, and replacement.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
