Under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager or Assistant Manager, cleans building areas according to established procedures. Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the hospital departments, and performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. Handles the processing, distribution, and storage of washable linen, garments, and other items. Performs basic laundry tasks that include washing, pressing, folding, inspection, and distribution. Demonstrates behavior practices that reflect the philosophy and mission of Providence Health and Services, our founders, the Dominican Sisters, and Providence Mount Carmel Hospital's Standards of Conduct.
