TerraPower is a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington. At its core, the company is working to raise living standards globally through a more affordable, secure and environmentally friendly form of nuclear energy along with innovations in medical isotopes to improve human health. TerraPower is seeking to hire highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals who are interested in focusing on advanced nuclear reactor research and development and influencing change within the nuclear power landscape and bringing forward the critical production of medical isotopes.
TerraPower is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate in hiring on the basis of sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religious creed, national origin, physical or mental disability, protected Veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. In addition, as a federal contractor, TerraPower has instituted an Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) in an effort to proactively recruit, hire, and promote women, minorities, disabled persons and veterans.
The Engineering Analysis Automation Software (EAAS) Manager to lead the development of next-generation digital products for nuclear engineering analysts, reactor engineers, and operators. These products will automate complex nuclear engineering workflows, integrate with plant digital systems, and serve as the foundation for TerraPower's broader digital strategy for commercial products. This position reports directly to the Director of Safety and Engineering Analysis (SEA) in the Natrium Program and will work closely with the Director of Digital Products and AI. This role is central to TerraPower's mission of delivering commercial-grade software products that not only accelerate reactor design cycles but also directly support plant operators in safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.
The EAAS Manager will oversee a growing team of engineers and developers responsible for building and integrating advanced analysis software (e.g., neutronics, thermal-hydraulics, safety analysis, and multi-physics solvers) with automation frameworks and HPC/cloud resources, and building tools that combine advanced reactor analysis capabilities with robust, user-friendly product design. We are looking for a leader with proven experience building, shipping, and maintaining commercial-grade software products --- not just research tools. The ideal candidate understands both the rigor of nuclear analysis and the demands of professional software productization, including user experience, supportability, lifecycle maintenance, and long-term sustainability.
