Emergency Supportive Housing Supervisor

Location: Haven Heights (2122 152nd Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052) Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:30am Pay: $30.90/hour Status: Regular Full-Time/Non-Exempt

The Emergency Supportive Housing (ESH) Supervisor is responsible for supervisory responsibilities associated with program operations which include administrative duties, ensuring staff onboarding and on-going professional development. The ESH Supervisor will ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, assist in the development and implementation of residential programming activities, demonstrate a high level of leadership skills through sound judgement, execution of critical thinking skills and excellent customer service and help to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming community for residents, staff and neighbors.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision and coordination with the ESH Program Manager, duties will include responsibility for direct shift oversight and staff supervision.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of emergency resources.
  • Assists with the monitoring, evaluation, and facilitation of changes in operational and administrative programs to ensure compliance with policy, contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with daily program operations such as, wellness checks, food security activities, incident reporting, and the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Assists as needed in hiring assuring adequate coverage of permanent, temporary, and on-call staff.
  • Provide direct supervision and training for direct reports.
  • Assist Program Manager with the preparation and submission of reports, assigned.
  • Attends and participates in all staff meetings.
  • Conduct regular ESH program staff meetings as needed.
  • Ability to conduct and oversee direct resident services.
  • Provide policy and procedure guidance to direct reports.
  • Ability to adhere to code of ethics and boundary setting.
  • Provide supportive care to residents experiencing personal crisis.

Education & Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in public contact/customer service
  • 1 year of relatable supervisory experience
  • Demonstrates skilled training in basic Trauma-Informed Care, Mental Health First Aide, and conflict resolution.
  • Six months or more of successful experience working in a shelter, transitional or permanent supportive housing setting.
  • Washington State Driver's License required
