This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of safety. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space. As part of a small team, you'll provide technical expertise and analytical solutions to support the development of new space vehicles and test/launch facilities. You'll need proficiency in shock, vibration, and acoustic environment measurement/prediction/analysis, and related laboratory testing quantitative methods. You will need a solid foundation in structural mechanics, in addition to your high frequency skills.

We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prediction of launch vehicle vibration, shock, and acoustic environments due to engine, aerodynamic, pyrotechnic, and/or other sources.
• Shock, vibration and acoustic measurement/data interpretation of ground and flight tests.
• Development, supervision, troubleshooting, and verification of component dynamic environment al tests.
• Other high and low frequency loads tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
