Control Systems Engineer

You have completed a BS in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 3 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your actions, behaviors, and decisions are made in a manner consistent with our Core Values. You may have also acquired the following skills:

• Prolonged experience with industrial automation, instrumentation, and controls
• Design/program industrial PLCs - specifically Allen-Bradley, but doesn't have to be exclusive
• Evaluate electrical systems toward applicable electrical standards, human factors, installation/cost, and maintenance best practices
• Oversee field work including new installations, integration into existing systems, and troubleshooting
• Project Management experience - capital appropriations, cost, schedule. Managing electrical craft resources

As an Electrical Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Design and maintenance of nuclear fuel fabrication plant manufacturing equipment
• Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
• Consults with engineering staff and technicians/craft to ensure compliance with design specifications and plant or industry standards
• Apply advanced techniques in CAD and incorporate standard design applications
• Start up, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of process and production equipment and associated facilities and support systems
• Support of 24/7 fuel manufacturing facility in engineering projects and maintenance
• Learn existing plant systems and support improvement projects and maintenance activities at a facility with highly automated chemical
