Clerical I Temporary Position
West Sound Workforce is partnering with the Port of Seattle, a leader in moving people and cargo worldwide, to place a skilled office support professional in a temporary Clerical I role. Serving millions each year, the Port of Seattle is committed to public service and plays a key role in the region's economic vitality. This full-time, temporary Clerical I position provides in-person front office support at the Port's Headquarters on Pier 69. If you enjoy interacting with a diverse public, helping things run smoothly, and keeping an office organized, this role is a great fit.
Shift Information: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
What This Temporary Clerical I Position Will Do:
- Greet and check in guests, issue parking validations, and provide excellent customer service
- Answer and route phone calls to appropriate staff
- Maintain accurate records, scan, file, and handle basic administrative tasks
- Refill kitchenettes and support general office upkeep
What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous office support or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse public in a professional setting
