This position provides vital support to the officers and staff during the Christmas season by assisting with all aspects of holiday operations. Responsibilities include transporting and managing donation kettles, delivering and picking up supplies, and providing transportation for bell ringers as needed. The role also involves handling bank deposits, distributing and collecting Angel Tree tags, picking up and organizing toy donations, and assisting with the setup and tear-down of the toy distribution area. Additionally, the position helps coordinate and direct volunteers to ensure a smooth and efficient toy distribution day.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Education Requirements:
High school diploma required. Some post-secondary education preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of six months related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Washington driver's license with a good MV record
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate a cell phone and computer. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (toy bags, heavy coin bags and kettles). Ability to understand written information.
