Summary: Under general supervision, the Floor Support Technician is responsible for keeping campus areas free of accumulated waste and debris. This position also operates floor scrubbers, parking lot sweeper trucks, ramp FOD collectors, forklifts, and hauling equipment. The Floor Support Technician also ensures all waste, hazardous waste, and recycling is transported and separated at the appropriate dumpster or waste/recycling collection station.

Physical Effort and Dexterity: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $20.24 - $27.45 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
