Responsibilities:

• Serves as a visible and active security officer on campus dealing with the prevention and resolution-related behavior/social concerns.
• Conducts routine patrols of assigned facilities to include buildings and parking lots. Operates system equipment to include alarm systems and surveillance equipment.
• Counsels individual students in relation to the student's ability to function effectively in the educational environment.
• Coordinates security for crowd and vehicle control at extra-curricular activities and special events.
• Assists other law enforcement agencies with incidents involving local criminal activity that may impact student or site safety.
• Maintains paperwork related to activities that may include police reports, daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Additional duties as assigned.

You Provide:

• Must have prior Law Enforcement or Military background
• Genuine desire and interest in the security industry
• Ability to stand 100% of shift and meet the physical requirements of the job
• Reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills to include word and outlook
• Great communication/writing skills
• Armed requirement with dual licensing in Oregon and WA.
• DRIVERS LICENSE
• Pass pre-employment drug testing and background check
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to provide 3 professional references
• Starting Wage will be $25/hr based on experience and potential *Must meet requirements for sign-on after 180days*

Education Requirements (All): High School Diploma GED Certification Requirements (All): Valid State Drivers License
