Based in Boeing Final Assembly Line and Delivery Center in Seattle, Washington, the Airframer Support Engineer will join CFM/GE on-site team to support the operation of assigned engines (CFM56-7, GE90, and LEAP-1B) in the aircrafts production and delivery process. He/she will interface with Boeing teams and customers to provide on-site assistance, technical assessment, and maintenance coordination regarding all engine related issues. Attending major production and delivery phases, the Airframer Support Engineer will anticipate questions, handle customer requests, and ensure CFM interests. Acting as a representative of Safran Aircraft Engines, he/she will pay special attention to help dealing with Safran AE parts issues and will act proactively to ease their closure (technical, quality, logistic…). The Airframer Support Engineer will establish and maintain a climate of confidence and trust with Airframer and Customers in order to understand their needs, address their concerns, and improve their satisfaction relative to the Production & Delivery Support.

The job requires strong oral and written communication skills, excellent relationship (Partner, Airframer, and Customer interfaces) and team spirit. Candidate should be able to make formal presentations to all levels of the organization, customers, and peers and react in a highly exposed and tense environment. Solid knowledge of mechanics and engine functioning are required, as well as technical expertise in engine assembly and maintenance documentations. The job also requires great availability and flexibility (shift organization, on call support) to accommodate planning constraints & changes imposed by the Customer. Leadership, reactivity, and organization are key skills for this role.
