Windows Systems Engineer

As a member of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. This position requires a US Citizen with a deep knowledge of Windows Active Directory and desktop services, including virtual desktops and infrastructure. The candidate must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Key job responsibilities include managing/operating and maintaining Active Directory and component systems, ensuring security compliance, and managing metrics and monitoring services. The role involves creating and updating system documentation for engineering, operations, and support teams.

A day in the life involves maintaining and enhancing existing services, including Windows build/deployment capabilities, fulfilling requests for application packaging/deployment, and break/fix scenarios for all technologies the team manages. This role will work closely with the Security Compliance team to ensure security compliance with all desktop environments.
