M2P (Playout, Mam, and Postproduction) engineering and support level 2 on the Eurosport Europe playout platforms in a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment.

Support:

  • Support Level 2
  • Management of tickets escalated by support level 0/1
  • Monitoring incidents and problems with different teams
  • Transmission of information, daily platform evolutions with support level 1
  • Management of maintenance plans
  • Coordination of maintenance and upgrade phases
  • In charge of the global health of the 7 platforms Dev, QA, Staging, and Production

Engineering:

  • Management of short-term projects
  • Close relationship with level 3 for projects
  • Collection of user needs and support level 1
  • Writing of support, project, and engineering documents
  • Monitoring of tool development evolutions

Coordination with other Audiovisuel and IT departments for the integration part

Helping users for new projects and in change management

Profile and desired skills:

  • BTS Audiovisuel
  • French and English written and spoken, used as working languages
  • Good communication skills
  • Quick adaptation to change
  • Stress management during major sporting events
  • Autonomous, force of proposal with a client service view
  • Great capacity to solve incidents and analytical spirit
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance and/or engineering position
  • Experience in sports, news, production, and documentary environments
  • Experience in playout environments
  • Solid understanding of broadcast formats (video IP 2110, AES67, NMOS, video and audio format and codec…)
  • Good understanding of IT environments and its challenges (network, security, virtualization, storage, cloud…)
  • Good analysis of incidents and log readings
  • Openness to constant technological evolutions

Additionally desired:

  • Basic development/scripting practice
  • AWS knowledge
  • Basic understanding of micro-services
  • Bon Ă  savoir:

    • Work on a schedule in the evening until midnight and on weekends. Some nights are expected for certain productions in the year but not part of the permanent cycle
    • On-call telephone duty outside scheduled hours for emergencies reported by support level 1
    • Location: Issy les Moulineaux (near Paris)
    • Possible teleworking days according to schedule
    • Expect some occasional travel
